Terry Whenham of Connells Estate Agents is part of a team publishing a book for funds for the ABF Soldiers Charity. Terry writes:

In 2014, 30 people signed up for ABF The Soldiers' Charity Frontline Walk, a 75 mile trek across the World War 1 battlefields. The following year, 100 people took part and, by the end of the WW1 Centenary in 2018, 200 people were taking part. Many of the Frontline Walkers are veteran soldiers, including some who were physically or mentally wounded in recent wars. By the end of the 2018 Walk, these fundraisers had raised over £1 million for the national charity of the British Army. This souvenir book tells the story of the Frontline Walk, and many of the fundraisers, their WW1 ancestors and what motivated them to go through so much pain during the challenge. Many of the walkers return year after year, with a few of them doing all 5 years.
